Red Velvet's Wendy is making her solo debut in April!

According to a report on Soompi, the group's agency SM Entertainment confirmed the news on Wednesday.

"Wendy is working on a solo album aimed for an April release. Please look forward to it," SM said.

Wendy will be the first one to make a solo debut among Red Velvet's five members.

The girl group is widely known for their hit songs "Psycho," "Russian Roulette," and "Bad Boy."

Red Velvet debuted in August 2014 with the digital single "Happiness" and has since taken the K-pop industry by storm.
