Levi Ackerman statue unveiled in 'Attack on Titan' creator's hometown
Levi Ackerman has been immortalized in the hometown of "Attack on Titan" creator Hajime Isayama.
Last March 6, a life-sized bronze statue of the popular character was unveiled at the JR Hita Station in Hita City of Oita Prefecture in Japan.

In a report by Anime News Network, Isayama was quoted as saying, "He is the most popular character that has supported Attack on Titan all the way, and I'm indebted to him. I hope he is pleased."
Levi is the fourth "Attack on Titan" character to receive a bronze statue in Hita City, after Eren, Armin, and Mikasa, the report added.
"Attack on Titan" is a popular manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama that has been serialized since September 2009. It is set to come to an end on April 9.
The story was also adapted into an anime in 2013, with the fourth and final season currently airing.
"Attack on Titan" follows Eren Jaeger and the Survey Corps as they dig deep to find the truth about the Titans in an effort to retake the world from them. —JCB, GMA News
