Team Sun-oh or Team Hye-yeong? ‘Love Alarm’ star Kim So-hyun reveals her choice
“Love Alarm” lead star Kim So-hyun has revealed her answer if she were to choose between the drama’s Hwang Sun-oh and Lee Hye-yeong.
According to So-hyun, she thinks she will get along better with Sun-oh.
“He’s a very enthusiastic, compassionate person. Although he could seem a little bit proud and condescending at times, he’s a very committed, devoted and considerate person when it comes to love,” she described the character in an online interview on Monday.
“Since he’s devoted to love, I think if I end up with Sun-oh, we could fall in love very passionately,” she added.
Although this may bring happiness to Sun-oh’s supporters, So-hyun clarified that she chose him simply because she already picked Hye-yeong before.
“I picked Hye-yeong in the past so for once, I would like to give my reasons for choosing Sun-oh,” she said.
With the first season showing Kim Jojo (Kim So-hyun) and Lee Hye-yeong (Jung Ga-ram) growing close together, fans can’t help but wonder who the female lead will end up with.
As an early gift to Hye-yeong fans, Ga-ram said in a video that his love for Jojo would “blossom” in the sequel.
“When we got to hold hands, it gave me butterflies in my stomach. In this season, Jojo was someone that I wanted to protect even more,” he said.
Meanwhile, Song Kang, who plays Sun-oh, revealed that he cried a lot in the series. “I think I shed more tears than I shed in my entire life while I was acting [as him].”
According to the director, the second part of “Love Alarm” will deliver “more mature romance” that come with the characters’ growth. It will start streaming on Netflix on March 12.
