Biking and coffee come together in this Taguig City café
Looking for a place to enjoy your coffee while admiring all things biking?
Bikes and Coffee Manila in Uptown Bonifacio offers customers a healthy blend of their favorites by letting them enjoy both at the same time.
“The idea of the specialty café was inspired by the cycling culture in other countries, specifically in Italy, where biking and coffee really come together,” Megaworld Lifestyle Malls said in a statement.
“Once a customer enters the newly opened shop, they will immediately be treated to the ambiance of an upscale bicycle store that also serves quality refreshments,” it added.
Apart from offering coffee crafted from specialty beans, the café is a one-stop shop for cyclists with its variety of affordable bike accessories, spare parts, and apparel.
The shop also has pastries, burgers, and pasta dishes perfect for bikers who want to get their energy up and running for their long rides.
According to café owner Dale Rosales, everyone is welcome to visit the place, including non-bikers.
“Who knows? We might convert a coffee lover to a cyclist,” he said.
To ensure that safety protocols are followed, the café encourages al fresco dining with only two persons per table. The store is also consistently sanitized and employees are regularly tested for COVID-19.
Bikes and Coffee Manila is located at Uptown Parade, 9th Street cor. 36th Street, Taguig City.
