BTS member J-Hope releases extended version of ‘Blue Side’
BTS member J-Hope has released an extended version of his song “Blue Side”!
On March 2 KST, the group’s Twitter account shared the link to the track, which was uploaded on both SoundCloud and YouTube.
The first version of “Blue Side” was a one-minute-and-30-second track on J-Hope’s 2018 mixtape “Hope World,” while the new one is more than three minutes long.

“It’s been 3 years since the mixtape called Hope World was released,” the BTS rapper shared in Korean on their group blog. “When I listen to it again, I think [it’s] embarrassing.”
J-Hope said the song was titled “Blue Side” because the color gave him comfort. “I couldn’t go back,” he said, “but at least once … I needed a blue haven that comforted me and [cooled] me down.”
On Thursday, BTS was named the Global Recording Artist of the Year by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for being the top-selling artist in 2020. – RC, GMA News
