Here's a look at the character designs in Netflix's upcoming anime 'DOTA: Dragon's Blood'

Netflix is breathing new life into well-loved DOTA 2 characters in its upcoming anime series "DOTA: Dragon's Blood."

The streaming giant just released posters that feature some of the heroes that will appear in the show, giving fans a glimpse of the designs of the characters.

The fantasy series will tell the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.

Netflix earlier released the show's trailer.

"DOTA: Dragon's Blood," based on the hugely successful global video-game franchise DOTA 2 by Valve, is set to premiere on March 25 on Netflix. —JCB, GMA News
