'Rugrats' revived for new series featuring original voice cast


Another iconic show is set to be taken out for a spin!

According to Comicbook, "Rugrats" is going to be revived for an all new CG-animated series produced by Nickelodeon.

Citing the virtual presentation at ViacomCBS' Investor Day, the report said that the original cast are expected to reprise their roles.

This includes E.G. Daily (Tommy), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie), Cheryl Chase (Angelica), Cree Summer (Susie), and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil).

For the new show, the toddlers will be exploring the "world and beyond from their pint-sized and wildly imaginative point-of-view."

IGN shared a teaser video of the upcoming show, which is set to hit streaming service Paramount Plus.

"Rugrats" is an animated show that follows the adventures of a group of toddlers, revealing the world from their point of view. It aired on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 2004. —JCB, GMA News
