Trailer for ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ confirms return of this insane DC villain

The full director’s cut of “Justice League” (2017) is set to premiere in the Philippines this March.

HBO just released the first official trailer for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” and it features a cameo from a returning villain that was not included in the 2017 theatrical release.

In the final moments of the trailer, the Joker played by Jared Leto comes face to face with Ben Afflack’s Batman and utters the ominous phrase: "We live in a society where honor is a distant memory. Isn't that right... Batman?"

"Zack Snyder's Justice League" premieres exclusively on HBO Max this March 18, 2021.

As fans have seen in the initial 2017 release, the story follows Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) as he aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.

The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts and they end up forming an unprecedented league of heroes that include Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller). — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
