Here are some Feng Shui tips for every part of your home
After a hard 2020, everyone is looking forward to an easier 2021. With Chinese New Year nearing, it wouldn’t hurt to rely on some Feng Shui for some good luck.
In Monday’s episode of “Good News” with Love Añover, tips to attract “chi” or positive energy inside your houses were shared.
Entrance
According to Feng Shui expert Master Lois Alog, putting a fortune plant next to your house’s main door is a good way to attract positivity, and you guessed it, fortune.
Host Love added that fortune plants need not to be given too much attention because it’s so easy to take care of.
Living room
With online classes being held at home, Master Alog suggests putting a bamboo plant on the east sector of the living room to enhance children’s education luck.
She noted, however, that even with luck shining in the East, it is also where the “Three Killings” is located.
“It’s a very bad energy na pwede magdulot sa atin ng loss of income o kabuhayan. Pwede rin, in fact, magdulot ng severe illness eventually leading to death in the family, loss of job or opportunities,” she said.
To counter this, the Feng Shui expert said renovations shouldn’t be made. She also suggested putting a jade or any live plant. If the plants die or become dry, it should be replaced.
“Ang idea ay papalitan mo siya kasi imbes na yung taong nakatira sa bahay ang mawala, ang halaman, madali lang naman palitan,” she said.
The Misfortune Star, meanwhile, is located in the Southeast sector this year and can be solved somehow by putting six metal rod wind chimes.
Master Alog added that the living room should be clutter-free and clean to allow for a good flow of thoughts.
Kitchen
Representing water and fire, Master Alog stated that the stove shouldn’t be placed in front of the sink.
To somehow counter it, she suggested hanging six emperor coins in one of your kitchen cabinets. Regular metal coins washed in running water and put in a can may also be used.
Room
If you wish to have more money this year, the Feng Shui expert suggested putting coins in a piggy bank placed on a table.
She also said that the bed’s headboard should not be in front of a window.
“Gusto natin, solid yung wall ng ulohan natin. Nagsu-support din ‘yon ng good health natin,” she said.
