'Godzilla vs. Kong' unleashes monstrous trailer


It's official: "Godzilla vs Kong" is coming to theaters and streaming sites this March.

A trailer released by Warner Bros. Pictures gives fans a first look at the colossal battle to take place as Kong finds himself in the path of an enraged Godzilla.

Kong also meets Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond.

The fate of the world hangs in the balance as the epic clash between the two titans unleashes destruction across the globe.

“Godzilla vs Kong" is part of Legendary Entertainment’s “Monsterverse” and is a sequel to “Kong: Skull Island” (2017) starring Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larsson.

The action-packed sci-fi thriller about the two gigantic monsters fighting to the death stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González and more.

According to Warner, "Godzilla vs Kong" will be released nationwide in 2D and 3D in select theaters and IMAX on March 26, 2021 and will be available in the U.S. on HBO Max for 31 days from theatrical release. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
