Blackpink’s Jennie becomes 1st Korean female solo artist to have music video with 600M views

Blackpink’s Jennie made history just before her birthday!

According to a Soompi report on Friday, Jennie has become the first Korean female solo artist with a music video that has reached over 600 million views.

The K-Pop idol released her debut song “Solo” in November 2018. As of writing, the music video now has 601 million views.

Jennie is the first Blackpink member to release solo music. With Jisoo soon to appear in her own drama series, Lisa and Rose were also announced to be involved in solo projects. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
