BTS hits 1 billion views anew with ‘Boy With Luv’
BTS has just unlocked another achievement!
According to a report by Soompi, the group’s music video for “Boy With Luv” has surpassed 1 billion YouTube views as of Jan. 13.
The music video was released April 12, 2019, when BTS dropped their album “Map Of The Soul: Persona,” meaning the views were generated in one year and nine months.
“Boy With Luv” is the group’s second music video to reach 1 billion views, after “DNA” hit the milestone in June.

Released in September 2017, “DNA” hit 1 billion YouTube views within 2 years and 9 months.
Apart from “Boy With Luv” and “DNA,” some of BTS’s most viewed videos include “Mic Drop,” “Fake Love,” and “Idol,” all of which were released between 2017 and 2018 and have more than 800 million views.
The band’s biggest hit so far, the Grammy-nominated “Dynamite,” is not far behind. Released on Aug. 21, the song’s music video already has over 772 million views. – RC, GMA News
