Kara David offers free tutorials on journalism and TV reporting

For aspiring journalists out there, you're in for a treat!

Veteran journalist Kara David is offering free YouTube tutorials on journalism and television scriptwriting.

She made the announcement via Twitter on Friday.

"Sana makatulong sa mga estudyante ng komunikasyon at aspiring TV journalists," she said.

Kara already released the series' first tutorial on the basics of TV writing.

She said the video was originally made for the Department of Education's teacher broadcasters, but she decided to "re-edit it and modify it to help students and aspiring TV journalists."

"Note that these tips are based on my 20 years experience on television. They are not supposed to be the standard for all TV writing," she said.

Aside from being a journalist for more than two decades, Kara also teaches journalism at the University of the Philippines Diliman for three years now.
