Zooey Deschanel impersonates Katy Perry in music video for 'Not the End of the World'

Katy Perry has dropped the music video for her song "Not the End of the World" starring Zooey Deschanel!

The pop star herself only has a short appearance at the beginning of the video, where she is seen walking and pushing a baby stroller.

A stuff toy then drops from the stroller in front of Zooey, who is sitting on a bench and reading a newspaper.

When she picks it up to return it to Katy, the "500 Days of Summer" star suddenly disappears—she is kidnapped by aliens!

However, it turns out that the aliens actually wanted to get Katy to save her from the end of the world. When Zooey tells them her name, they think she just has amnesia and insist on calling her Katy.

The rest of the video shows Zooey pretending to be Katy and performing for the aliens.

"Not the End of the World" is a track for Katy's 2020 album "Smile."
