‘Where’s Ninong?’ Netflix shares hilarious ode to missing godparents during Christmas season
It’s almost Christmas but where’s your Ninong?
As an ode to our missing godparents during the Christmas season, Netflix released on Friday a video titled “Where’s Ninong?”, with a concept similar to “Where’s Wally?” where the subject is hidden within the images.
In the Netflix video, the Ninong, played by Jun Sabayton, is hidden in scenes and behind the characters of different movies and series. While speaking to his inaanak, he could be seen hiding in the background and hilariously edited in scenes from “Bridgerton,” “Sweet Home,” “Princess Switch,” “Christmas Chronicles 2,” and many more.
According to Netflix, Ninong appears over 19 times in the video. He was a janitor behind Meryl Streep in “The Prom,” had nosebleed while behind Song Kang in “Sweet Home,” and even grilled inihaw behind Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo in “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
“Basta inaanak kung may problema, ako ang ninong mong madaling lapitan pero mahirap lang hanapin,” he said. He also asked his inaanak: “Kung makita mo man ako sa video na ito, screen cap mo yung eksena ah.” – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
