‘Through Night and Day’ starring Paolo Contis is Google’s most-searched movie in PHL in 2020

The results are in: “Through Night and Day” is the most Google-searched film in the Philippines in 2020.

According to the search engine’s year-end review of most-searched queries in the country, the tear-jerking romantic drama starring Paolo Contis and Alessandra de Rossi was at the very top of the “movies” category.

“Through Night and Day” surpassed Bong Joon-ho’s Academy Award-winning Korean language picture “Parasite,” and the Netflix Original film “Enola Holmes” starring Millie Bobbie Brown.

The list mostly includes internationally acclaimed titles that premiered this year, including the live action adaptation of “Mulan,” Neflix’s action-packed thriller “Extraction” starring Chris Hemsworth, and DC’s much-awaited “Suicide Squad” follow up, “Birds of Prey.”
