Super Junior postpones release of comeback album 'The Renaissance' to January 2021

Super Junior fans are going to have to wait a little longer for their comeback album "The Renaissance."

The K-pop group’s Label SJ announced that their 10th full album, which was originally scheduled for release in December, is now set to be released in January 2021.

"The decision was made inevitably in order to create a more complete album, as it is an important album that celebrates Super Junior’s 15th debut anniversary," the statement read, as translated by Soompi.

"We ask fans for their kind understanding," it added.

Super Junior, who made their debut in 2005, currently has nine active members: Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Shindong, Yesung, Kyuhyun and Heechul.

They already released teaser images for "The Renaissance," as well as a live video of the remake version of "Raining Spell for Love." —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
