#TeamDoSan and #TeamGoodBoy bid farewell to “Start-Up” after heartwarming finale
After months of taking viewers on an emotional journey by diving deep into the lives of young entrepreneurs, “Start-Up” aired its 16th and final episode on Sunday.
Let’s face it: The beloved K-drama’s finale did not just put an end to the love triangle between the characters Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy), Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho) which has fueled a "#TeamNamDoSan vs #TeamGoodBoy" social media debate as it aired.
It also gave the fandom as a whole something to celebrate as Dal Mi’s company successfully developed a self-driving car, the biggest of their team’s selfless initiatives to help the visually impaired and make the world a better place.
More importantly, the final episode moved fans to tears with a series of peaceful and heartwarming resolutions to the character’s many well-developed relationships.
Apart from Dal Mi and Do San who shared an especially affectionate scene near the end, Dal Mi and her sister In Jae, Stephanie and Chul San, and, of course, Ji Pyeong a.k.a. Good Boy and his beloved halmeoni also saw happy endings.
The cast also posted heartfelt farewells to their characters and fans on social media.
