Iya Villania and Drew Arellano bond over big bike racing

Iya Villania and Drew Arellano have a new hobby as husband and wife—big bike racing!

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Iya said Drew himself encouraged her to try the sport.

She previously took lessons and has just returned to the track after giving birth to Baby Alana.

"Exciting siya, it's so much fun," said the Chika Minute host. "When the photographer was able to catch a picture of both Drew and I in the same frame, dun ako sobrang natuwa kasi parang wow, who would've thought na I'd be able to be on the track with my husband?"

Drew, of course, is very hands-on with keeping an eye on his wife on the track.

"Sa sobrang bilis na kasi ni Drew nahahabol kasi niya ako sa likod kaya he actually really wanted to ride behind me 'cause he wanted to see kung kamusta 'yung mga linya ko," Iya said.

Asked if she ever got afraid of big bike racing, Iya said she conquered the initial fear by just getting on with it.

"I'm dressed for the crash so there's nothing to be afraid of," she said. "Dahil if you're wearing the right gear, if you're dressed appropriately then you have nothing to fear." —MGP, GMA News
