Rabiya Mateo can't believe more than 540,000 people are now following her on Instagram

Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo is understanding the reach and influence she now has.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the beauty queen announced that more than 540,000 people are now following her on the social media platform.

"Last month before the competition, I only had 10,000 followers and I was already happy with that but now, I am very overwhelmed with the love and support of people all over the globe. We were able to reach 540k," she wrote in her caption.

"With influence, you will have the power to do greater things for others and make an impact in their minds and hearts and that is my daily mantra!" Rabiya added.
