These terrariums will take your plantita skills to the next level
Take your plantita skills to the next level by making landscapes for your plant babies.
On "Unang Hirit," plantito Jomari Cagas from Joem's Garden shows how to make terrariums — miniature littte gardens in a bottle or aquarium!
He said you can put your tiny garden inside recycled bottles, or jars, fish bowls, and aquariums.
Plants that thrive inside a terrarium include fittonia, bromeliad plant, moss, and driftwood, because they live on moisture.
You can also add stones or pebbles!
Cagas said you have to place the terrariums in cool areas.
"Para magkakaron siya ng moisture. 'Yan ang magiging pinaka-pagkain niya. Once na ilagay mo sa mainit na area, iinit sa loob, mas mahihirapan alagaan," he said.
It will take a lot of patience and care to be able to make your own terrarium, but if you want ready-made, bottle terrariums only range from P100 to P150.
For bigger ones in an aquarium, they could cost P1,500. —JCB, GMA News
