Netflix drops trailer for Korean thriller 'The Call' starring Park Shin Hye, Jun Jong Seo

Netflix dropped a suspense-filled and mystery-packed trailer for the Korean thriller film "The Call" starring Park Shin Hye and Jun Jong Seo.

The story follows Seo Yeon (Park Shin Hye), who returns to her family home after a long time and finds a landline phone set. She receives a mysterious call from someone named Young Sook, but she later realizes that the stranger is also living in the same house and is calling from 20 years ago.

In the trailer, Seo Yoon tries to warn Young Sook that she might die the next day which leads to Young Sook's drastic change. The two will both be at odds as they fight for their survival.

Other cast members include Kim Sung Ryoung, EL, Park Ho San, Oh Jung Se, and Lee Dong Hwi.

Directed by Lee Chung Hyun and co-written by Kang Sun Ju, "The Call" will be released on Netflix on November 27 at 4 pm. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
