‘The Crown’: Josh O’Connor, Emma Corrin reveal their favorite scene as Prince Charles and Princess Diana

Season 4 of “The Crown” tells the story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana from their brief courtship to their days as young parents to Prince William and Prince Harry.

While they did not have an ideal marriage in real life, they still had some happy moments in the early years of their royal romance.

In a roundtable interview with the international media on Thursday, actors Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin revealed their favorite scene together as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

“We had to do a dance in Australia and that was a little fun,” Emma said, referring to Charles and Diana’s first ever dance as a couple in a public function during their international tour in 1983.

Set in episode 6, the dance comes shortly after Charles and Diana reconcile with each other thanks to a candid conversation.

It is arguably the peak of the relationship when both parties are happiest, but Josh said he faced a small difficulty behind the scenes.

“I am rubbish at dancing. The fun in that was that poor Emma had to sort of drag me around, and I’m meant to be dragging her around,” the actor said.

It certainly did not look like it as the pair danced to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” while holding each other close and smiling.

Josh evidently enjoyed himself during the scene, confessing that he was humming the tune while filming.

“I kept going, da-na, da-na, da-na-na-na, like singing it. They’re like, ‘Josh, stop singing it. Just dance,’” he said. – RC, GMA News
