'Emily in Paris' gets a 2nd season at Netflix
'Emily in Paris' is getting a second season at Netflix.
Netflix made the announcement on Instagram with a short and sweet video featuring main players of the show doing what they do best — Sylvie complaining, Julien and Luc being Parisian bros, Antoine spraying himself with perfume, Gabriel cooking some eggs, and of course Emily receiving messages on her phone.
Netflix also shared an "office memo" from Emily's office Savoir, signed by no less than Sylvie and addressed to her American counterpart Madeleine, saying "We write to regrettably inform you that Emily Cooper will need to remain in Paris for an extended period of time."
"Despite her overconfident manner and lack of prior experience in luxury goods marketing, she has nonetheless managed to charm some of our hard-to-impress clients during her short time at Savoir," she continued.
"We love having Emily in Paris! But please don't let her know that," the memo ends.
Created by Darren Star, "Emily in Paris" tells the story of American 20-something Emily who lands her dream job and moves to Paris.
It's become a show that, like Sylvie, netizens love to hate but one that's allowed us a break from the grim realities of 2020. — LA, GMA News
