'Attack on Titan' statue featuring Eren, Mikasa, and Armin unveiled in manga creator's hometown
A statue of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin was unveiled in the hometown of "Attack on Titan" manga creator Hajime Isayama on Sunday.
The official Twitter account of Hita City in Oita Prefecture shared photos of the ceremony, with Isayama himself posing with the statue of his three characters.
The statue was erected in front of the Oyama Dam, where Isayama got the inspiration for the Wall.

It recreates the scene when Eren, Mikasa, and Armin saw the Colossal Titan for the first time.
According to a report on Crunchyroll, the statue also has an accompanying augmented reality app, which projects an image of the Titan behind the dam.
