HBO’s upcoming drama ‘Valley of Tears’ takes you deep inside 1973 war-torn Israel
If you’re a history buff who saw “The Pacific” and “The Thin Red Line,” then you should know about the upcoming war drama “Valley of Tears.”
The 10-episode HBO Max Original premiering this Nov. 13 was inspired by true events during the Yom Kippur War in Israel.
Young combatants are thrust into a violent war, which was later revealed could have been avoided by leaders they blindly trusted.
“Valley of Tears,” directed by Yaron Zilberman, stars Ofer Hayoun from the Emmy Award-winning TV series “Euphoria.”
The cast also includes Lior Ashkenazi (“Foxtrot”), Aviv Alush (“The Shack”), Lee Biran, Shahar Taboch, Joy Rieger, Imri Biton (“Just for Today”) and Maor Schwitzer (“Shtisel”).
“Valley of Tears” will be available for streaming and download exclusively on HBO Go beginning Nov. 13 with two new episodes.
Two new episodes will premiere every subsequent Friday on HBO Go. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
