Mascot maker dresses up as COVID-19 for Halloween to remind public to keep safe
A veteran mascot and puppet maker has dressed up as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for this year’s Halloween to remind the public to keep safe.
In Oscar Oida’s report on “24 Oras” Friday, Samuel Fuentes shared that his goal in creating the elaborate virus costume wasn’t just to make an outfit this year, but to also remind the public that the pandemic is still here.
“Sa dapat ngayon gumana ang society with the COVID, pero kailangan mag-ingat tayo,” Samuel said. “Reminder siya, nandiyan siya and kinakailangan, we have to wear ’yung protection na nire-require ng government, sundan natin.”
