Japanese teenager gets her dream date with Godzilla

A Japanese teenager fulfilled her dream of going on a date with Godzilla thanks to Osaka television show "Tantei! Knight Scoop."

According to a report on Kotaku.com, 13-year-old Seira Watanabe is a huge fan of the iconic fictional monster and even owns collection figures.

Seira asked the show to let her have a date with her beloved, saying that she wants to marry Godzilla.

The show then visited her home and surprised her with Godzilla himself. After recovering from her shock, the girl packed a bento and brought her grandfather as chaperon to their date.

They visited the Godzilla Museum while holding hands, and for lunch, Seira pretended to feed Godzilla with her food and some tea.

At the end of the date, the two sat on a beach at sunset. The teenager gave Godzilla a hug and a kiss and even proposed.

Too bad the monster could not accept her marriage offer, but at least they had fun during their date. —MGP, GMA News
