Get ready to be spooked in online Halloween tour 'One Night in Intramuros'

Trick or treating may not be good idea amid the pandemic, but there's still plenty to activities we can enjoy this spook-tacular holiday.

Take for example this online Halloween tour called "One Night in Intramuros" organized by WanderManila, which promises to explore the Walled City "from the shadows and the dark corners."

"If the walls of Intramuros could speak, imagine the stories it could tell. Tales of intrigue, of passion and jealousy, of violence and death," the touring group wrote on Facebook.

"What secrets are the Walled City hiding? What stories are there to uncover? What lurks inside the shadows?"

According to Benjamin Canapi, the head tour guide of WanderManila, the tour focuses on areas which allegedly have ghost sightings and delves into the history of the structure for possible clues.

"If people are looking for jumpscares and monsters jumping out of their screens, this is not the tour for them," he said. "However, the fact the stories we will be sharing are true makes them scarier and creepier."

The event will be streamed live on the WanderManila Facebook page at 9 pm on October 30.
