Incoming college student creates miniature version of '24 Oras' studio

An 18-year-old incoming college student has created a miniature version of the "24 Oras" studio.

According to Oscar Oida's report on "24 Oras," Jericho De Vera crafted the project using recycled materials from his home due to the lack of budget.

What's more, he made a perfect replica without ever stepping foot inside the news program's studio.

"Puro search lang po sa Google. Puro mga images, lahat ng angle po. Lahat ng pictures na kuha 'yung bawat side," he said.

Jericho said he started with making mini-cars using boxes and his hobby eventually evolved from there.

He was supposed to start his architecture studies this semester, but he did not push through due to the challenges of distance learning.

"Wala po akong magandang gadget na puwedeng pang video call at pang internet," he said.

He is not giving up on his education, but for now, he will keep practicing for his future plates on his own.

"All Out Sundays studio po 'yung next kong [project]," he said. "Ginagawa ko na po siya ngayon." —MGP, GMA News
