Ryan Reynolds discovers he's a video game character in 'Free Guy' trailer
What would you if you learn that you're not real and you're apparently just a video game character?
This is Ryan Reynold's conundrum in "Free Guy," an upcoming film that just dropped its latest trailer.
Reynolds plays the role of a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game and decides to become the hero of his own story—one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way before it is too late.
The two-minute trailer also showed glimpses of "Stranger Things" star Joe Keery and "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi.
Starring alongside them in the film are Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, and Utkarsh Ambudkar.
"Free Guy," directed by Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn, is opening in Philippine theaters soon. —JCB, GMA News
