Sandara Park shops for Pinoy goodies in a Philippine market in Korea
Sandara Park went to Philippine market in Korea where she ate a Filipino meal karinderya-style and purchased Pinoy grocery goodies.
Accompanied by a friend, Sandara documented her visit to a Philippine supermarket in her vlog, where she bought a bottled sarsa, corned beef, tocino, and sinigang mix.
Despite being in a baggy pink shirt and mask, the former "2NE1" member was immediately recognized by Filipinos who were also shopping in the market.
With more and more people getting curious about her identity, Sandara eventually revealed herself and was generous enough to take selfies and photos with fans who approached her.
At one point in the video, Sandara thanked her Filipino fans who haven't forgotten her and those who are subscribed to her channel.
Last July, Sandara went viral on social media after she suddenly spoke Tagalog in a Korean show.
Sandara was born in South Korea but her family moved to the Philippines when she was young. She spent her teen years in the Philippines and rose to fame after winning runner-up in a talent search show in 2004.
She returned to South Korea in 2007. In 2009, Sandara debuted as one of the members of the K-pop group 2NE1. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
