'Haikyuu!!' dominates Twitter Philippine trends as Season 4 returns on air

True to its season title, "Haikyuu!!" Season 4 is at the top — of the Twitter trends!

The second part of "Haikyuu!! To the Top" premiered early Saturday (Philippine time), and it looks like fans stayed up to watch it live online.

The hashtag #haikyuutothetop is currently on the number two spot of Twitter Philippines' trends, but names of the characters from the widely popular anime also flooded the list.

Among the most-talked about characters were Akaashi Keiji, Hinata Shouyou, Miya Atsumu, Kageyama Tobio, Oikawa Tooru, Nishinoya Yuu, and Suna Rintarou. Karasuno High's opponent, Inarizaki High, also found a spot in the trends list.

"Haikyuu!!" Season 4 Episode 14 picks up from where the members of Karasuno High School Volleyball Club are battling their way through the Spring InterHigh Tournament. The team must now face powerhouse Inarizaki, which includes the fan favorite Miya twins.

"Haikyuu!" is an anime series based on the popular manga by Haruichi Furudate. The manga ended last July 20. —JCB, GMA News
