Mareng Winnie teaches fellow senior citizens how to use Zoom

Unlike the tech-savvy Millennials and Gen Z, senior citizens might be having some difficulty adjusting to the new technologies being used amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Oscar Oida's report on "24 Oras," only 12% of internet users in the Philippines are aged 55 and above, so we can imagine how many of our elders must feel about the current situation.

Some of them are probably only just now figuring out how to navigate online shopping, online banking, online classes, and even online catching up with their friends.

In the upcoming episode of  "Newsmakers" on Monday, host Winnie Monsod actually teaches her fellow senior citizens Boots Anson-Roa and Leo Martinez how to use popular video conferencing app Zoom.

The two veteran actors try their best to follow her instructions, but it takes them a while—and lots of laughs—before they can say #AchievementUnlocked.

At one point, Boots' husband comes to her rescue, but he cannot avoid the "senior moment" of first needing to get his glasses.
