'Hogwarts Legacy,' a Harry Potter game set in the 1800s, is coming to PlayStation 5

There's a new Harry Potter open world game coming to major platforms, including the PlayStation 5.

During the PlayStation 5 showcase event on Thursday (Philippine time), "Hogwarts Legacy" was unveiled to be part of the new console's next-generation games.

Set in the 1800s, "Hogwarts Legacy" will show players what the Wizarding World was like more than a century before Harry Potter’s arrival.

Gamers get to play a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart.

It is developed by Disney Infinity developer Avalanche Software.

According to The Verge, it is set to launch on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / Series S in 2021. —JCB, GMA News
