3 feel-good 'We Bare Bears' episodes you have to watch again

Sometimes, life gets so stressful that you just want to watch an endless stream of "We Bare Bears."

There's just something really comforting about watching three cute bears go about their weirdly exciting lives, occasionally getting into sticky situations while doing something as mundane as hunting for snacks, drinking milk tea and ordering stuff online.

Some of us might also want an extra dose of Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear since the beloved cartoon series, which first came out in 2015, is coming to an end. The series wraps up with the release of "We Bare Bears: The Movie," which premieres in the Philippines this Saturday.

Luckily, creator Daniel Chong has some ideas of three episodes you can rewatch to your heart's content.

The following are his personal favorites:

1. Burrito (Season 1, Episode 7)

This episode where Grizzly finds a bear-sized burrito that eventually becomes part of his life is definitely one of Daniel's favorites.

There's a hilarious montage of Panda and Ice Bear trying to tell their brother that his attachment to the snack is getting unhealthy, but you should brace yourself for a deeply emotional ending that reveals a traumatic moment Grizz experienced as a cub.

"It has this really strong sense of family in it and brotherhood and unity and it also has the sense of who we are and where we come from and how our friends can help us overcome trauma and things like that. So that is an episode that I love a lot and I hope fans love a lot for that reason," Daniel said.

2. Bearz II Men (Season 3, Episode 37)

Baby Grizz, Baby Panda and Baby Ice Bear help a talented teenager named Nate go for his dream of becoming a famous singer.

One of the things Daniel really likes about this episode was all the original 90s RNB-style songs that the team came up with.

"I love it a lot just because the music in it is the music I grew up with as a kid, which is 90s RnB, and we just went all out and we made this 90's RnB throwback!"

3. Shmorby (Season 4, Episode 25)

The Bears get an Alexa-like home assistant device called "Shmorby" who teaches them a valuable lesson after they become lazy couch potatoes.

Daniel shared that one of the story artists even wrote a song for the episode, which made it another one of his favorites.

"It was just so charming and I loved it so much," he said.

Where to watch

Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear definitely gave us four seasons and 140 episodes worth of  adorable animation, relatable storylines, and touching themes of friendship, family and brotherhood to last a lifetime.
