10 Japanese indie films you can watch for free this September

If you're looking for some Japanese movies to watch but you've gotten tired of scrolling the Netflix catalog for fresh titles, then you're in luck!

The Japan Foundation has made 10 independent films available for free online streaming from August 21 to September 30.

The whole lineup is composed of selected works produced in MOOSIC LAB, where aspiring directors and musical artists collaborate with each other to create a film based on a song.

All the films have English subtitles and can be watched on the Japanese Film Festival Magazine website.
