New GMA online show ‘Cool Hub’ explores hobbies, interests, collections

There's new online show that will make your Saturday mornings more interesting and exciting!

“Cool Hub” will feature hobbies, interests, and collections of different celebrities and enthusiasts.

It will be hosted by Ayra Mariano, Manolo Pedrosa, Myrtle Sarrosa, and Yasser Marta, who will take turns hosting episodes.

“In ‘Cool Hub,’ it’s not just about sharing arts and crafts, hobbies, interests. In a way it’s a different kind of collaborative effort sa mga artista and different people,” said Manolo during the show’s media conference on Friday.

Ayra said they would also feature collections that would take viewers on a trip down memory lane.

“It’s an entertainment show na magkakaroon ng nostalgic feels sa bawat isa na lalabas na collection,” she said.

“We have four hosts and each of us have different personalities and interests. We choose our own interests and share it so it’s very engaging,” said Manolo.

He added that the show matched the interests of the hosts with the featured topics on the episodes.

Since the hosts themselves had to shoot the episodes from home, they had to learn and prepare.

Yasser admitted that he wasn’t a techy person to begin with but with practice, he was able to get the hang of holding online interviews.

“Medyo nahirapan ako at first,” Yasser said. “’Di ako techy na tao. Itong Zoom nung una nahihirapan ako, but since mostly taping ginagawa via Zoom, doon ako nag-aadjust.”

For the pilot episode of “Cool Hub,” guest Ashley Ortega will showcase her personal collection of Barbie dolls.

“Cool Hub” premieres Sept. 5 on GMA Artist Center’s YouTube Channel.

It will air every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. – RC/LA, GMA News
