BTS drops English single 'Dynamite' with funky music video

BTS finally dropped the bomb — "Dynamite" is here!

The South Korean supergroup premiered the funky, retro-themed music video on Friday. The highly anticipated release is the boy band's first track sung entirely in English.

BTS had been hyping up the singly in their social media accounts, to much fanfare. Preorders for the vinyls and cassettes had sold out in less than an hour, while a second one also quickly sold out fast.

Earlier, the members said they hoped that the song would give positivity and comfort to people all over the world who are exhausted due to the coronavirus disease pandemic.

The single was dropped ahead of their self-produced comeback album, which is expected to come out later this year. It is undecided if "Dynamite" will be part of the tracklist.

Their last album, "Map of the Soul: 7," was proclaimed the best-selling album worldwide according to Forbes. —JCB, GMA News
