BTS drops ‘Dynamite’ music video teaser

BTS has released the music video teaser for its latest single “Dynamite”!

The South Korean supergroup shared the 28-second teaser Wednesday 12 a.m. KST ahead of the release of the English single on Friday.

Last week, the group shared their ’90s-inspired teaser photos featuring the members rocking casual outfits.

BTS has begun promotions for “Dynamite” through updates on social media and music streaming platforms, among other activities.

In the US, the single was made available for preorder in digital, as well as vinyl and cassette versions.

The physical formats immediately sold out in less than an hour.

“Dynamite” marks the first time for the group to release a standalone single album.

BTS earlier said that with the new song, they hoped to send a message of hope and comfort amid the coronavirus disease pandemic.

The group is releasing the new single ahead of their self-produced album, which is expected to come out later this year.

Their latest comeback follows the release last month of their 4th Japanese album, “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey,” which broke records in Japan’s charts and topped iTunes in at least 81 countries; and the February release of “Map of the Soul: 7,” the year’s best-selling album worldwide. – RC, GMA News
