Netflix's 'The Crown' has a new Princess Diana for its final two seasons
Netflix's "The Crown" announced that Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana in the drama's final two seasons.
"The Crown" announced the news on their official Twitter page with a quote from the Australian actress.
"Princess Diana's spirit. Her words and her actions live in the hearts of many. It is my true privilege and honour to be joining the masterful series. Which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one," she said.

Elizabeth will be replacing Emma Corrin, who is currently playing the beloved royal.
Vulture estimates that given the show's timeframe for Season 5 and 6, Elizabeth is expected to play Princess Diana before and after her separation from Prince Charles and up until her death in 1997.
