'Hindi Tayo Pwede' becomes no. 1 most watched movie on Netflix

"Hindi Tayo Pwede" has become the nation's latest Netflix obsession.

On Instagram, Lovi Poe shared that her film became the most-watched film on the streaming platform, and thanked viewers for making it a success.

"Hindi Tayo Pwede" tells the story of Gabby (Poe) who finds love in a man who is also named Gabby (Tony Labrusca), and shares a long, deep friendship with Dennis (Marco Gumabao).

Written by Ricky Lee and directed by Joel Lamangan, the 2020 film was just released on Netflix last August 4, and it already hit the top spot in the Philippines.

Kapuso actor Paolo Contis also made waves on the streaming platform last month when his films “Through Night and Day” and “Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap” were consistently among Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 films.
