'Chucky' TV series drops chilling teaser

It looks like our old friend Chucky is making a comeback, this time in a television series.

"Child's Play" creator Don Mancini shared a teaser of his latest project, giving a glimpse of the terrifying psycho doll that stabbed his way into our childhood nightmares.

Chucky first appeared in the 1988 film "Child's Play," and pops up in the rest of the eight-film franchise. The focus is placed on Chucky and Tiffany beginning at the 1998 film "Bride of Chucky," the fourth in the franchise.

"Chucky" is set to premiere on SYFY and USA Network in 2021.
