THR also quoted showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa as saying, "Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from day one."
"The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show," he added.
"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" centers around a teenage witch named Sabrina Spellman (Shipka) and is based on the Archie comicbook of the same name. It also stars Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Gavin Leatherwood as Nicholas Scratch, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, and Miranda Otto as Zelda Spellaman.
The show was originally created for broadcast but it was moved to Netflix in 2017, following the success of its sister series "Riverdale."
It currently has three seasons, with the fourth and final season streaming this year.
