Travel vlog 'Nas Daily' enters podcast space with 'Nas Talks'

Popular travel vlog — and Filipino favorite — Nas Daily is now going audio!

Nuseir Yassin, who hosts Nas Daily is launching "Nas Talks" the first Spotify original podcast led by its Asia team.

In a press statement Wednesday, Spotify said that the Singapore-based Nuseir, who has amassed a large following of 26 million fans across the world, will be sharing stories about his own journey, “finding fame through social media, and debates on politics and philosophy” in the new podcast.

“Going into podcasting makes perfect sense for the Nas Daily journey. It’s hard to deep-dive into topics in less than three minutes and I’m looking forward to longer discussions with other points of view,” Nuseir said.

He added, “It’s my first venture into long-form content and I am thrilled to partner with Spotify to bring this show to life.”

Nas Talks launches today, July 8 and in the first few weeks of the show, Nuseir will be speaking with Filipino-American vlogger Wil Dasovich and Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari.

Nuseir earned his fame through the video series “Nas Daily” where he talks about everything under the sun, from politics to cultural beliefs, all within just a minute.

He's featured a slew of Filipino content, too, as he's declared the Philippines his favorite country back in 2017. Apart from showcasing Filipino personalities like Angie King, Nas has also created a travel video for the Philippines for only $100.

A four-time visitor to the Philippines, Nas was last here in 2019, after which he praised our efforts as sustainable tourism.

Free for all Spotify users, "Nas Talks"' first episode is now available on the streaming platform. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
