Blackpink’s ‘How You Like That’ video hits nearly 500K views within 30 minutes of release

If you’ve ever doubted Blackpink’s power, well, we’ve got news for you.

On Friday, 5 p.m (Philippine time) the K-pop girl band premiered the music video for its highly anticipated comeback single “How You Like That.”

Within just 30 minutes of its release, the video has received over 460,000 views.

According to members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa during their live countdown session on V Live on Friday, “How You Like That” shows the group in a more “hip hop” light.

Before the pre-release track was revealed, the band had been dropping several teasers online. Their teaser video reached up to 3 million views after just a day of its release.

Blackpink, whose collaboration with Lady Gaga “Sour Candy” reached No. 1 on Spotify Philippines Top 50 Chart barely after a day it was released, is also set to release their first full-length album in September. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
