'Lucifer' is getting a season 6, after all
It looks like “Lucifer” will be getting a sixth season on Netflix, despite earlier hints that Season 5 would be the end of the series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the streaming service just announced it has renewed the devilish television series for one more round, despite last year's announcement that Season 5 would be its “fifth and final” season.
The "Lucifer" Twitter account also posted an announcement saying that Season 6 would be its “Sixth and final season, like FINAL final.”

"Lucifer" stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar a.k.a. the Devil who abandons his throne down below and turns to taking down criminals in the human world.
A lot of fans were dismayed when Netflix hinted that the story could be coming to an end on its fifth season.
In its report, Entertainment Weekly pointed out that “Lucifer” had already been “resurrected” by the streaming service after it was cancelled after a three-season run on Fox.
