Enchanted Kingdom offers virtual rides, attractions for thrill seekers

Enchanted Kingdom is offering virtual rides and attractions that thrill seekers may enjoy while staying at home.

Like many establishments, the beloved amusement park temporarily halted its operations due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

EK is yet to reopen its gates for adrenaline junkies, but that hasn't stopped it from providing joy and respite from cabin fever amid lockdown measures.

Check out the EK website and Facebook page for these virtual treats:

Space Shuttle

Enjoy this first-person view of this all-time EK favorite, which was inspired by sci-fi films and NASA space programs from the 1960s.

Passengers are slowly lifted over 35 feet in the air, which is equivalent to the height of an 11-storey building, before releasing the ride in one whoosh to the loops.

Jungle Log Jam

Check out this famous EK staple and have some fun without getting wet!

Inspired by the Amazon, the ride has the passengers sit comfortably on a log while sliding down two slopes filled with water.

The Enchanted Kingdom Story

If you just want to chill and see performers in costumes belting out tunes, then this is for you.

The theme park is releasing video excerpts from the EK Story Musicale featuring songs from Princess Victoria and Princess Madeline. —MGP, GMA News
