Michael V wants to be part of 'Voltes V' live action remake

Michael V is a huge fan of the iconic anime series "Voltes V."

In his latest vlog, the comedian showed off his toy collection featuring characters from the Marvel Universe, Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, and even Harry Potter.

His favorite, however, was his collection of Voltes V merchandise. He said the anime helped him develop his creativity when he was still a child.

"Natuto akong mag-scratch build. Talagang nagpupunta kami ng tambakan ng basurahan para makahanap ako mismo nung mga tsinelas," he said.

"Tapos 'yung mga tsinelas na 'yun na goma, 'yun 'yung dino-drawingan ko tas kina-cut ko, tapos binubuo ko, ginagawa kong action figure," he added.

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Bitoy said he couldn't believe that GMA-7 is creating a live action adaptation of the beloved anime.

"First time maririnig ng audience to ah. Parang pinagsisiksikan ko na 'yung sarili dun sa project," he said. "Kinausap ko si Direk Mark, kinausap ko 'yung mga boss ng GMA, sabi ko baka puwedeng sumali ako diyan kahit papano."

"So wag na kayong magtaka kung magkaroon ako ng participation in any form dun sa project," he added. —MGP, GMA News
