'The Promised Neverland' ends as manga releases bittersweet epilogue
It's an emotional time for "The Promised Neverland" fans as the popular manga released its final chapter.
Chapter 181 brought an bittersweet end to Emma's journey with an epilogue set two years into the future.

"The Promised Neverland" follows three gifted kids, Emma, Ray, and Norman, as they learn that their isolated orphanage isn't the haven they thought. They then make a plan to break out of the only home they ever knew as they battle demons.

"The Promised Neverland," written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016. An anime adaptation was aired in 2019.
The second season of the anime series is set to air in January 2021.
